Experience Diary - Flood Relief 2010

Floods Recently Hit Pakistan in 2010 I know that it’s much earlier still the effects are there so I call it recently.  So I was kinda moved and then planed to start something that would make a change, so I started to collect money online via facebook, msn and usually all over social media and collected a really unusual and a large sum by as an individual and the sum was far up to 100000USD. Collecting this much big amount by a 15 years boy was like impossible but that’s what I did. I made it Possible. For the donors asked me to show the proof that you are legit while my NGO was not registered so I just said that if you think you want to donate, then trust me just do. They were I don’t know how but my plans motivated to donate.

Soon after the utilization of this donation in an appropriate time and limit I headed to UK as there I had won a Photographic award being 3rd Worldwide in the commonwealth and Queen of UK had arranged a dinner for the winners to honor them which was followed by a full Free Week in which we were to do anything for free. Well the whole thing was fun just on the diner day I got interviewed by BBC. I asked BBC to give a link of my interview it might come in my use. You can watch it here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Q2R0G6EKFY

Just after 2 days while sitting on a street of London I saw a young girl gathering a big audience, she was going to do an open show just for a random UK based charity. I talked to her about Pakistan Floods and gradually tears came in my eyes and she agreed for Pakistan’s Cause.. She was so Moved by my work and motivated that while doing the show she aim fully fell down and hurted herself so badly, so everyone came and gave allot of money (Donation) almost a 700 Pounds !! Then later she called me over and handed over the money and said “i did all this for Pakistan!! I fell down just for your country” well at that time I was actually blank as it was tight slap on the face of every Pakistani that a British was doing so much for Pakistan and we the Inhabitants were just Busy in our matters and had no time for the country.

This Just Made Me Realize Where Do I Stand For My Country.
