Rescue Pakistan Youth Foundation
Rescue Pakistan Youth Foundation came into being in 2010 when the floods hit Pakistan; It was founded by me and my ex-teacher. Later she resigned due to some personal issues. The objective of this NGO comes with its name as it says Rescuing Pakistan by its very own Youth force.
The foundation was basically set up to collect some funds for the victims of Floods, we discovered that we were quite good at it as we raised a round about 200000$ in 45 days and that was a way to go thing for us. We kept working then doing charity fundraisers to raise funds for Japan and Philippines. Other than the relief works Rescue Pakistan Youth Foundation had also been doing different projects like 30 Days of Bliss (a 30 days project promoting a reason to live life); Iftari for Poor ( a project via which we fed almost 3300 poor in Sialkot with a vip iftari meal to make them feel special and blessed) and Skype for edvolution in Pakistan (a project in which we used skype to connect with poor slum kids and share what the life of city is like hence spreading awareness and knowledge to remove the gaps)
Now recently we are working on a plan which will be aimed to run on long term well it will be providing poor with meal of just RS 10. It will be like a Good quality meal but the price would be lowered to 10 Rs so that poor community could afford it.
