Do you know who was Dr. Abdus Salam? I know what the answer will “NO”
I wish you had known but i believe we all don’t know him for the same reason, i will be telling you all who he was and what he did for Pakistan and would also tell you the reason we don’t know him.
Abdus Salam was born in Jhang which was a small town in 1926. His family had a tradition of learning. He lived a cool life. Gave his matriculation from Lahore and when he got the highest marks he cycled from Lahore to Jhang like a crazy guy to celebrate the day. Then surly he got scholarship to do his studies. He did his PhD in theoretical physics which was to mark his name in History. His life went on.. Blah Blah Blah
But what did he did for the world? Pakistan?
Dr Salam was a Pakistani theoretical physicist and Nobel laureate in Physics for his work on the electroweak unification of the electromagnetic and weak forces. Salam, Sheldon Glashow and Steven Weinberg shared the 1979 Nobel prize for this discovery. Salam holds the distinction of being the first Pakistani and the first Muslim Nobel Laureate to receive the prize in the sciences.
Salam was the founder of Pakistan’s space programme as he was responsible for the establishment of the space research activities in Pakistan. Salam knew the importance of nuclear technology in Pakistan. From the start, Salam was a central figure in Pakistan’s nuclear weapons program. In 1965, Salam led the establishing of the nuclear research institute—Pakistan Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology.
and now we all know him. He was a legacy, a legend. He was the pride of this nation and a blessing sent to this world. Its Just due to him, we have space operations going on in Pakistan now and yeah Nuclear weapons wouldn’t have been possible without his efforts.
The Reason we don’t know about him?
He was an Ahmadiyya Muslim.
On his Grave “First Muslim Nobel Laureate” but, because of Salam’s adherence to the Ahmadiyya Muslim sect, the word “Muslim” was later erased on the orders of a local magistrate, leaving the nonsensical “First Nobel Laureate”.
To everyone. Even if he was an Ahmadiyaa. Please tell me wasn’t he a human being? a Pakistani? why weren’t his services not appreciated to that scale by anyone? why we never heard about him from our parents? why we never heard about him in school?
Im sorry but i feel ashamed. I just salute Dr. Abdus Salam (Late) for his services to the nation and to the world. May his soul rest in Peace. Do let others know about him by sharing this out!
To all. Being an ahmadiyya is not anyones mistake. Its in their fate. We should just thanks Allah making us belong to sunni families otherwise who knows who was who! and atlast i would like to mention that Humanity is the greatest of all. All religions dwells within it. PeaceOUT!
