They say ‘children should be seen and not heard’, but 13-year-old Malala Yousufzai did not hold her peace when the crisis in Swat prevented her from receiving an education. For defending her motherland’s reputation and fighting for children’s rights and education, Malala was awarded the National Peace Prize by the state of Pakistan.
Malala, who was named after a young Pashtun poet and warrior woman of the 19th century, was also the first Pakistani to be nominated for the International Children’s Peace Prize. We hope this well-spoken and intelligent young lady’s desire to enter politics and defend our people’s civil rights is materialised.
If a preteen can risk her life to preserve Pakistan’s honour and fight for her community’s right to prosper; the rest of us should take inspiration from her strength in overcoming the obstacles that prevent us from achieving our own dreams.

I hope one day its most respected identity all around the world. Proud to be a Pakistani.

This 40 year old man earns his living by selling/repairing watches on a hustling footpath of Saddar under no-roof..
After installing the battery in my device, I asked how much ?
He replied : Whatever you feel is ‘Munasib’ (worth)
I gave thirty..
With a gentle smile he returned me ten
And said -
Twenty is fine - Its my Jayiz (Halal on me)

For those who say “Pakistan is not much talented” I am like “Are you kidding me? HUH!”
Pakistan is a country which is blessed by Allah in many ways and its talented Inhabitants is one of that form. Yeah Pakistan has got many inspiring and talented Singers, Musicians, Photographers, Film-Makers and writers. Oh the writers here remind me of Sayeda.

Sayeda is a great asset of Pakistan, she was born and raised in Gilgit, an upper north range of Pakistan. She is busy as always in raising the image of Pakistan in front of the world and is one of the beings who make me feel Proud while saying Yes! I am from Pakistan.
Just recently she took part in an International Competition which took Place in USA. That competition was based on research of Drugs and its effects. The competition was open for 25 countries. The best part of this competition is that its winner is a Pakistan. Yes its Sayeda. Among all the 1900 participants, she stood first. What a great achievement she achieved.
Now comes the most Interesting Part. For this competition she compiled a book on Drugs and its uses with the Main Heading Drugs Free World. The book was compiled in 9 days with the use of Internet and News Paper. Whata hard work!! Seriously it Payed off.
This Achievement today made my day and of many other Pakistani’s who saw this come on news.
Sayeda If you read this sometime. I would let you know that your achievement is really a big one and yes it makes a big difference. We all are proud of having you in Pakistan and moreover in this world. You are just a blessing.
