The team who hasn’t played a game in its home country since 3 years. A country whose players are banned to gain T20 experience in the IPL. A team whose players don’t get nominated for awards. A team whose players are paid the lowest salaries in the world. A team whose tricked into scandals. A team who has qualified for the semis and finals of all the last 7-8 major tournaments, including WT20 and Asia Cup glories in 2009 and 2012 respectively. A team whose bowlers are on the top of all the bowling rankings. A team who has given us so many moments of pride. A team who has given us so many unexpected wins. Don’t forget, we were T20 World Champions in 2009. We love you all. 180 million people back here are proud of you boys. God bless you all. TEAM PAKISTAN ZINDABAAD!

Yay! Proud Moment for team Pakistan and the whole country for getting their ticket to the semi-finals. Though India won today but it lost its entry to the semis. Sad lol

Balaji to Peterson, 1 run, Pakistan are through to the semis, the Pakistan section roars in delight, KOHLI IS IN TEARS, short ball on the stumps, Peterson mistimes a pull behind square for the single that knocks India out

Only in Pakistan.

Met this young man at the F-11/F-10/G-11/G-10 intersection today selling “Motiyay kay haar”.

Its amazing how people who aren’t even remotely connected to you or people you can’t ever understand end up stealing your heart away. I was at the intersection today when this boy walked up, asking me if I wanted to buy any flowers. I politely apologized telling him I didn’t have any money on me at that time. He smiled and said it’s not an issue and handed over a haar saying he doesn’t let any car go without one, with or without payment.

Even on my constant insistence that I can’t accept this he didn’t take it back. For someone who earns a mere 300 rupees a day selling these flowers for 10 rupees a piece; I think this person has a bigger heart than most, if not all, of the people I know.

Only in Pakistan.

Lolz Studios.

There are people in this world who know about Pakistan only because of this man.
Whatta Legend. Respect to him, Always.

Okay, this is the moment. I feel proud to tell everyone that i’m in the Youth Service America’s List of The 25 Most Powerful and Influential Young People around the world. Being one from Pakistan is another great thing to it. With the YSA List, they recognize and reward 25 incredible young people, and we hold them up as examples of what young people are doing all over the planet. List is also about changing perceptions.

Being in those 25 people, i feel great, representing Pakistan this far was unbelievable. Shukar-Al Hamdulillah! Thank you Allah.
